Angry with God?

This sign brings up a great question for people who don't truly believe in God and for those who might be "On the fence" so to speak. This reminds me of the times that some one, who might other wise not believe in or follow God, might say "God is punishing me" or "God is cursing me". How can a person blame a something that they don't believe exists? How can some one blame bad things on God and not give God credit for equally good things? I think this message is to encourage everyone to really take the time to think about what is or isn't God responsible for in our lives. Is he responsible for the consequences of poor choices that we ourselves might make? Or bad choices that other people make that bring unfortunate consequences to us? Often times our misery is a product of our own doing. Can God really be blamed for that? And for those unfortunate events in our lives that are not a direct result of our own actions, should we simply be angry with God? Or look for a possible reason for the event. Could there actually be hidden blessings mixed into it that will serve a purpose in helping us learn and grow as an individual? When and if those blessings arise out of the ashes of the presumed curse, shall we continue to be angry with God? Or can we then have the faith that God has big complicated and not so easy plans for us that we simply don't understand. Our path is meant to be filled with trial, errors, obstacles and hard times. Not necessarily as a curse on us, but for challenging us to work hard to reach higher levels of personal strength and understanding. Is that really worth getting angry about?
