Sage Summer Suggestions
Then of course there is that heat factor during the summer months. Whether it's a dry heat or a swampy humid sauna, the heat can really suck the life out of us if we're not careful and prepared.
Because, well, there really are hotter places than here.

And to better understand why it's best to stay out of that other place, we must understand that...

Angry with God?
This sign brings up a great question for people who don't truly believe in God and for those who might be "On the fence" so to speak. This reminds me of the times that some one, who might other wise not believe in or follow God, might say "God is punishing me" or "God is cursing me". How can a person blame a something that they don't believe exists? How can some one blame bad things on God and not give God credit for equally good things?
I think this message is to encourage everyone to really take the time to think about what is or isn't God responsible for in our lives. Is he responsible for the consequences of poor choices that we ourselves might make? Or bad choices that other people make that bring unfortunate consequences to us? Often times our misery is a product of our own doing. Can God really be blamed for that?
And for those unfortunate events in our lives that are not a direct result of our own actions, should we simply be angry with God? Or look for a possible reason for the event. Could there actually be hidden blessings mixed into it that will serve a purpose in helping us learn and grow as an individual?
When and if those blessings arise out of the ashes of the presumed curse, shall we continue to be angry with God? Or can we then have the faith that God has big complicated and not so easy plans for us that we simply don't understand. Our path is meant to be filled with trial, errors, obstacles and hard times. Not necessarily as a curse on us, but for challenging us to work hard to reach higher levels of personal strength and understanding. Is that really worth getting angry about?

Heavenly Wit and Wisdom
I think the point of this message is to show that often people rely on "Luck" to the point of becoming dependent on arbitrary things like rabbits feet to create a sense of protection from the hard things in life. But what is it really? It’s a poor furry animal’s disembodied foot.
People may perceive God as a giver of luck and do ritualistic things or depend on material things to bring them favor from God. But does God really give blessings based on whether you’re chanting the right verse, dancing through the right ritual or carrying the right good luck charm? No. Gods blessings and how you receive it is in how you personally relate to God.
Another words, if the rabbits foot didn’t bring the rabbit any luck why should it bring you any more of Gods blessings than it gave the rabbit?
